I voted for him twice and would have again, were it permissible. Nor did I make any comment about him in this post. I liked him because he was a centrist and even hijacked Republican ideas (which I have no problem with). But, he's not running. The other kind of Democrats are; the kind he disassociated himself from when he was running. He is not who they talk like. They talk like Kerry and that's not who we need in office. Listen to the ideas they are coming up with. Hillary wants to give every child born $5,000. Immediately, one thinks -- is she nuts? That means every time a child is born we borrow $5,000.00 more from the Chinese and pay interest on it. Not a good idea. During the debates, all you hear about is how they are going to spend more money we don't have. The Republicans have proved they are spendthrifts too. But there is a Democratic Congress now and they seem worse, not better. There is no good choice here, just two bad choices, each in its own way.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17038118012770250140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33957555.post-51790084799762790092008-01-03T08:53:00.000-08:002008-01-03T08:53:00.000-08:00Where did you get the idea that Democrats ruin us ...Where did you get the idea that Democrats ruin us financially? Far and away, the most fiscally responsible President in the last 50 years was Bill Clinton. He balanced the budget, had a zero deficit, and Wall Street thrived. And guess what? He's a Democrat. Other than that one piece of hysteria in your blog, I agree with your other observations completely.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
